I've noticed that when I display a MODIS image via Hydra, the wireframe box and display does not adjust to zoom into my newly displayed data. For example, my default map is world coastlines, when I subset a MODIS granule over a specific region, I see it display in a tiny area somewhere in the display window.
On the other hand, when I display a cloudsat granule, the wireframe box conforms to the new data and display window zooms over the region of new data. This also occurs if I were to pull in some satellite data via ADDE.
My question is why does the MODIS data display behave differently than most other datasets?
