Hi,

I have a netCDF from an NWP model and I need to save the sounding plots (or probes or cross-sections) from the layer.


After generation of a layer using: activeDisplay().createLayer('xxxxx',...) it can be captured images from panel or activeDisplay() from the display window but how can be captured the images that appears on the layers windows?

Hi Miguel-

I've discussed this with my colleagues and we haven't been able to find a way to use captureImage() (or writeMovie()) to capture anything not in the Main Display window. I wrote a new inquiry #3066 to expand on the functionalities of captureImage() and writeMovie() to be able to save displays from the Layer Controls.
