Is there a way to redirect the listing of print statements made from within the jython shell to a specific filename?

Changing location of output when working in Jython shell
Re: Changing location of output when working in Jython shell
Hi Joleen -
I just spoke with Jon about this, and this is something that he is currently working on. He is working on getting an output of print statements as well as being able to set a specific file name for this output.
Thanks for the questions/ideas.

Hi joleenf,
Just a note that we moved this topic from the General Questions forum to the Scripting forum because your question is about using the Jython shell. (You can find a listing of all the forums on the McIDAS-V Support Forums home page - http://mcidas.ssec.wisc.edu/forums/.)
