Error in Local Data
Re: Error in Local Data
Hello,
Could you also post a screenshot of the settings for your local ADDE entry? (Tools -> Manage ADDE Datasets -> Double-click on the "MYDATA" line. You should get a window titled "Edit Local Dataset").
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Error in Local Data
I notice in the ADDE Data Manager window the message "Local servers have been stopped". Try doing "Tools ->Manage ADDE Datasets -> Local Servers -> Start Local Servers". (and/or restart McIDAS-V).
Re: Error in Local Data
someone can help me solve this error. I'm trying to add a local server but it does not respond

Re: Error in Local Data
Hi Boris,
Have you been able to display local data in the past?
If so,
1) Did you recently upgrade to a new version of McIDAS-V?
2) Are you running on a different machine.
If not,
1) Please do a search for the file cygwyn.dll. Let us know if you find one and the location of the file on your computer. We have seen problems with different versions of cygwyn.dll interfere with McIDAS-V.

Re: Error in Local Data
Hello
Install a new version of linux on my computer (CentOS 6.2) and apparently i was not installing some components for the configuration of the network. I have fixed the problem, McIDAS V 1.2 runs correctly.
Thanks
