I note in my fresh install of McV 1.5 on Windows 64 bit, that the "STARTUP_BUNDLE" in the
McIDAS-V/runMcV-Prefs.bat file is initially set to "".
However, as soon as I run the configuration (either from the runMcV-Config.bat or from the GUI) and save it, the STARTUP_BUNDLE in McIDAS-V directory is set to "0;".
Is this harmful in any way?
startup_bundle set to "0;"?
Re: startup_bundle set to "0;"?
Hi tomw,
Good catch. We tried it here and found that you are correct about the STARTUP_BUNDLE values being set as you described.
I checked with a McV system programmer, and he confirmed that it shouldn't be harmful. He added that the '0' simply corresponds to the state of the startup bundle checkbox, while everything after the ';' would be the path if one were specified.
Thanks,
Barry
