Listen to your Data

To Sonify your data with McIDAS-V:
1) Load your data, say a time series of GOES brightness temperatures
2) In the data view: turn on the 'Data Probe/Time Series'
3) Under the layer controls/data probe, right click on parameter, the 'set sound', un-mute, select instrument and maybe adjust range. OK.
4) Then either move the probe within one image, or select one spot and turn on the 'animation'.
