labeling not working wth image contours

I am not able to get labels for the contours when image contours is selected as a display type

Hi Kris -

What type of data are you looking at? I am able to get contour labels to display for model data when Contour Plan View is selected as the display type and for satellite data when Image Contours is selected as the display type. I am working with a McIDAS-V nightly build dated 9/7.

I now see them, but the font seemed stretched out and the labels were not distributed well across image. I only saw a couple numbers across the entire domain I was looking at.

Hi Kris -

I agree that the contour labeling needs some work. McIDAS-V inquiry #1111 is about contour labeling. In the request, it mentions that you cannot specify which contours are labeled or how often they are labeled.
