Hi,
This is a small bug.
I am working with McIDAS-V 1.02beta1 Build 2011-05-19. The data for the 500 m MODIS file loads into the Field Selector, but the options in the Fields look odd. The data displays in this build, but had not worked in a previous build. In the current stable version, the Field drop down only has the option for the reflective_bands and not the extra "-" I believe this would be the desirable version.

Re: Multispectral 500m MODIS data
Hi Joleen -
I just picked up some 500m MODIS data from LAADS, and I am seeing the same bug that you are when I load an image in under Satellite -> HYDRA. However, if I create a Local ADDE Dataset for the data, there is no difference in the structure of the Field Selector between version 1.01 and the nightlies. I also tried using HYDRA with MODIS 1km data, and the structure of the Field Selector was the same between version 1.01 and the nightlies. I will look into this a little more and write an inquiry. Once an inquiry is written, I will post a link to it here.
Thanks
- Bob

Hi Joleen -
I have written this up as McIDAS-V Inquiry #1047 and it is under evaluation.

Hi,
This is an ugly workaround for the much uglier gui flashing that occurs when
there's only a single DataChoice.
