Hello,
I have been able to make McIDAS-V become responsive in a recent bundle that I am using. This started with the supported version of McIDAS-V and also with McIDAS-V 1.01 beta 2.
My system:
MacBook Pro
OS X Version 10.6.7
2.66 GHz Intel Core I7
8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 4
I have a 2 panel display of AMVs over a Seviri image. There are several filters turned on. When I use the side bar zoom (+) feature, many times I can make the software become unresponsive.
It seems to behave better, if I make sure and wait a few seconds before each mouse click to engage the zoom.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve -
Can you send the bundle as a zipped data bundle (.mcvz)? That will help us duplicate your session more accurately.
Thanks
- Becky
