Middle-East locations do not display

Post by hproe »

This is an oldie. Since many many builds Display > Plot Location Labels > World > Middle East does not display any labels. (All?) other regions display. Adding Middle-East location to userstations.xml works, but is not the solution.

Hi HP,

This bug has been entered into our inquiry system. We are a little behind prioritizing the inquiries with a status of Evaluation. The status will probably change in the next week or so. You can follow the status here:

HP,

Where is userstations.xml located? I would like to plot Beijing on one of my plots and have the same problem. I would like to just work around it for now.

Joleen -

You have to create it. Being lazy I have put it in both in the McIDAS-V-System and McIDAS-V folder and never bothered to find out where it should be. My logic tells me that it should be in McIDAS-V.

Thanks HP! I copied the format from http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/id ... onXml.html and I put it in my McIDAS-V folder. It worked from that directory, but I did not bother to test it in the McIDAS-V-System directory. The McIDAS-V folder location makes more sense to me.
