decimal points on colorbar

See attached, my colorbar ranges from -1.2 to -1.0, I see multiple -1.2's and -1.1's for some reason. It seems that there are not enough decimal places on the colorbar.

Follow up request:
Can you provide the data file like the one you used (with values from -1.2 to -1.0) so we have a good one to use for testing?

I don't have this handy, I would think that you could emulate this with any file by changing the range to -1.2 to -1. A plot of Lifted Index from an operational NWP model run would have values in this range.
