3 panel domain not matching
3 panel domain not matching
I did a 3 panel window and loaded a dataset into the left panel. I notice that the domains do not match perfectly between the 3 panels even though they are shared. The country borders in Africa best exemplifies this. Middle and right panels match, left does not.
Re: 3 panel domain not matching
Hi Kris,
I think the reason that the leftmost panel doesn't match the others is that the Viewpoint, Navigation, and Undo/Redo Toolbars along the left side of the window pinch the leftmost panel a bit so that it's not the same size as the other panels.
This issue has been discussed and requested in the past (see viewtopic.php?f=15&t=142). I'll add your comments to McIDAS-V inquiry 157 (the existing request for these types of changes) so it's on record there, too.
Fortunately, if you turn off those three toolbars then the panels and their content match (very very close, if not perfectly). Here's how:
1. Edit > Preferences
2. Click the "Display Window" region near the upper-left corner.
3. In the "Navigation Toolbars" section, unselect the "Show Viewpoint Toolbar", "Show Zoom/Pan Toolbar" and
"Show Undo/Redo Toolbar" checkboxes.
4. Click "Apply" or "OK".
