Good Evening:

Found another instance where the preferences are not saved.

Edit> Preferences> Display Window> Layer List Properties> Font set to Times New Roman Plain 18 ... Apply> OK
When exit McIDAS-V and restart Layer List Properties goes back to default.

We've done a lot of work in 1.0beta2 fixing the preference problems. I tried your example and it appears to now be working.
