Mis-labeled GMS via script

Post by TJS »

Hello,

When I access MTSAT data via the archive (AMTSAT) via a script, the label says GMS-7 (which it's not). But, when I access the same data not in a script, but still in McIDAS-V, then the label is fine.

See the images.

Thanks,
TJS

When I display on my mac, the label is wrong either through interactive click-and-point or scripting. I am running on a different platform and with McIDAS-V 1.5beta2 an old build date of 2014-12-02.

Hi Tim,

Looks like the sensor-id to sensor-type is not being converted correctly. We'll take a look to find out if that information is coming from the server or a conversion done in the McIDAS-V software. I wrote up inquiry 1893 to address the issue.
