Color Table Label off page display area/overwrites itself

Post by joleenf »

Hi,

Please see the image below. The default position of the color table label is off the edge of the display and slightly overwrites the last value label.

I have the VIIRS data posted to

Hi Joleen -

Thanks for reporting this. I'm able to replicate the overlapping labels on my machine as well. I wrote this up as Inquiry 1795.

A workaround for now would be to place the color scale on either the left or right side of the display. When you do this, the unit label and number labels on the color scale don't intersect. Also, it seems that the smaller the text on the color scale, the less likely it is to intersect. Does making the text size a little smaller help keep the labels from overlapping?

Inquiry 1795 also includes that sometimes the labels can stick off the end of the display when positioned at the top or bottom. Smaller font sizes seem to be a potential workaround for this for now, as well.

Thanks again -
Bob
