SSEC Unidata Server Shutting Down in April 2024

Hello,

The below message from NSF Unidata Support on 04/02/2024 mentions that the SSEC Unidata server (adde.ssec.wisc.edu) is being permanently decommissioned on April 26, 2024. Users of this server for accessing satellite, radar, and point data in McIDAS-V are encouraged to use the adde.ucar.edu server in its place. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The NSF Unidata server hosted at the Space Science and Engineering Center
(SSEC) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (unidata3.ssec.wisc.edu)
will be permanently decommissioned on April 26, 2024.

Those using services provided by unidata3.ssec.wisc.edu can switch to using
the following alternate servers:

*McIDAS ADDE*

- Soon to be defunct: adde dot ssec dot wisc dot edu
- Switch to: adde.ucar.edu
- More information

*IDD LDM Upstream*

- Soon to be defunct: idd dot ssec dot wisc dot edu
- Switch to: idd.unidata.ucar.edu
- More information

*HTTP access to IDD Data*

- Please use: atm.ucar.edu
