Online registration is now available for the 2013 McIDAS Users' Group (MUG) Meeting to be held 9-12 September 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin. The registration form and meeting information can be found on the the MUG Meeting webpage:
http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/mcidas/mug_meeting/2013/

The registration deadline is 15 July 2013.

The planned schedule is for meeting presentations and discussions on Monday and Tuesday, and optional hands-on training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. There is one fee for the meeting registration, and an additional fee if you opt to register for either or both days of training.

Three training sessions will be offered: McIDAS-V Beginner, McIDAS-V Advanced, and ADDE Programming. Each is one day long, so you can attend one or two of them during the two days that training is offered. The Beginner session is offered only on September 11th, and the Programming session is offered only on September 12th. The Advanced session is offered on both September 11th and 12th, and is the same on both days. This arrangement allows beginning McIDAS-V users to take the beginning plus either the advanced or programming session over the course of two days, while programmers or advanced McIDAS-V users can skip the beginner material and complete the programming or advanced material in just one day (or can do both of those sessions in two days). See the descriptions at http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/mcidas/mug_mee ... genda.html for more information about their content.

A more formalized agenda with presentation topics will be added to the website in the coming weeks.

Please contact the McIDAS Help Desk at mug@ssec.wisc.edu if you have any questions or wish to volunteer to give a presentation. We hope to see you here in Madison in September!
