Dear McIDAS-V Users,

This announcement only applies to users running the McIDAS-V on Mac OS X.

There has been a recent malware attack targeting Java on OS X
platforms. We want to make you are aware of this vulnerability because
the McIDAS-V is a Java application and many of you have Macs. As with any
security vulnerabilities, please make sure your operating system
software is up-to-date via the Apple, Software Update… menu item.
