Is it possible to add a refresh button for the directories in the Data Sources tab of the Data Explorer? Every time I would like to see new data added into my directory, I have to back up and come back to the directory. This gets time consuming.

This request sounds similar to what was requested in inquiry 498 (http://mcidas.ssec.wisc.edu/inquiry-v/?inquiry=498). In that one, a fix was made so that the Refresh icon (curving arrows) next to the "Add Source" button in the bottom right of the Data Explorer window is supposed to refresh the contents of the selected directory. Although the inquiry request was just asking for the General > Files chooser, it looks like the fix was supposed to work for other choosers where you navigate to a specific directory (like Gridded Data > Local, Satellite > Hydra, and Radar > Level II > Local).
Can you try using that Refresh button and let me know if that works for you?
