RGB Comoposite display for auto-scaling RGB

Post by hproe »

I am an "addict" of the formula "Three Colour (RGB) Image (Auto-scale) under "Imagery". It serves me various purposes. As default display "Omni Control" is proposed. If there are no strong objections I would rather see "RGB Composite" implemented (I have never used Omni so far).

HP,

I agree, the imagery option seems more versatile than the Omni Control option.

Also agreed here, I never use the omni control unless my dataset is poorly constructed

Thanks for the input everyone. That switch in default would make more sense.

I've written up inquiry #993 for this enhancement: http://mcidas.ssec.wisc.edu/inquiry-v/?inquiry=993

Thanks, Jay
