I just spent too many clicks and minutes trying to find the "station model layout editor"....only to discover it is now called "Plot Configurations", under the "Tools -> Parameters" menu. I do not think that this term conveys any meaning at all to the community that is used to calling these things a "station model" (i.e., meteorologists). "Plot Configurations" simply did not convey to me that it had anything to do with defining the "layout model" for a plot.....
Please consider changing it!!

I totally agree! I think this happened when we were trying to streamline the menus. I think our streamlining went too far.
Anyway, we just made the fix to change Tools->Parameters->Plot Configurations to Tools->Station Model Template. It should be in the next release.
