‘Brightness’ and data types defaults

Post by TJS »

I understand we are still at beta, but the ‘data type’ of ‘brightness’ could confuse some. I think it should it be called ‘brightness values’, so we know it’s not brightness temperature. Also, in the data selector, the defaults keep re-appearing when I select a new band! If I want to load the 4 imager IR bands and I have switched the first one to ‘temperature’, I would like to not have to remember to click that again when I load the other 3 bands.

Thanks.

These are very good points. I would find these changes very useful.

These are good points. I've written up Inq. 434 for Evaluation to make these enhancements.

Thanks, Jay
