Vectors

Post by wstraka »

So I have an ocean currents point data (speed/direction) that I would like to plot in Mc-V. If I use the wind barb plot, all I get is a "calm" wind barb, as the data goes from 0m/s - 3 m/s. Obviously wind has specific values for the wind barbs, so this is not a valid way of plotting this.

I talked with TomR about this and what would be needed is to have a way to plot a vector arrow that points in the direction of the current and scale it by the speed.

Thanks
