Order of the readout values

Post by TJS »

Hi,

When one loads more than one dataset in mcidas-v, the most recent dataset is listed at the 'top'. Yet, when you read out data (middle mouse), the order seems to be reversed. See attached.

Could there be an option to have them reported in the same order?

Thanks,
Tim

I dealt with this yesterday, I agree that this is confusing.

Also, if I toggle the visibility of image so that it is not visible, I still get the readout from the image that is not visible. I can think of cases where I would like to look at the readout from just a few of the images I have loaded in the display without actually removing other displays.

Thanks,
Joleen

yes, some of the "unchecked" data was still providing readout data...it would be optimal if only displayed data were to provide a readout.

Good comments and suggestions!

I added McIDAS-V inquiry 721 (http://mcidas.ssec.wisc.edu/inquiry-v/?inquiry=721) for Tim's request, and inquiry 722 (http://mcidas.ssec.wisc.edu/inquiry-v/?inquiry=722) for Joleen's request.

Thanks,
Barrry
