When I am in a "Globe Display" and change the viewpoint with my cursor, it would be nice to find out the new "viewpoint settings." As far as I can tell, the only way to actually know what the "viewpoint settings" are is to use the "viewpoints settings" dialog box to move the view rather than the cursor. I tend to use the cursor to control the viewpoint rather than the dialog box or viewpoint toolbar.
