Saving an image of the panels

Post by TJS »

I understand we are still at beta, I know that mcidas-v can save (export as say a png) the 'view', 'view with the legend' or 'full screen', I would like it to also allow to save multiple panels (at least w/o the legend). For example, if one has 2 panels, then both could be saved in one image, without any cropping of the 'full screen' option.

Thanks.

I know this is not a new idea to float around. The problem with saving multiple panels right now is that they each are on a different display. Please consider for this inquiry to allow the user to name the displays as they are created (or at least know what they are) so that they know which panel they are saving? This might allow a list in a capture>image request where the user could select to save a portion or all of the displayed panels based off their given names.
