How could I display a data transect of three different GOES sounder bands on one display? I was wondering if it would be possible to display a loop of the three bands and then get the three transects on one display that way.

Thanks for posting this question. Unfortunately, I checked with a McV guru and was told that currently you can't plot more than one transect on a single display. You can do them individually, but I agree that it would be useful to plot the values from multiple bands/layers on a single plot.
There already is a McIDAS-V inquiry (#301) request to add this capability. I'll update it to indicate that another user (you) also asked for it.
