Ability to view VIIRS data that stradles dateline

Post by wstraka »

I know I mentioned this to Tommy, but when you have VIIRS data (or MODIS data) that stradles the International Dateline (-180/180), you can only select the side that has the most points. Unfortunately, if you want to look at a feature on the other side of the dateline, you cannot select any data on the other side of the dateline. When might one be able to be able to select everything in a granuel that straddles the international dateline?

EDIT- I should mention that this is with v1.2

Can you send us some sample VIIRS and MODIS data that illustrates this problem, and also tell us exactly which chooser you are using?

Thanks!

Tommy has been aware of this issue and has several examples.
