Show Logo option not in Preferences

Hi -

I note that Show Logo can only be (de)activated under View > Properties. While all other options found there can also be (de)activated in Edit > Preferences > Display Window > Panel Configuration, Show Logo cannot. Is this an oversight or (for whatever reason) a "feature". For me the possibility to be able to activate the display of a logo by default (an deactivate it locally through View > Properties) would come handy.
