Scatter plot with point data and satellite image

Hi,
I would like to plot scatter plots of station data and the corresponding pixels on a satellite image. When I select the point data field for use with the scatter analysis option I have this error message:
Creating display: Scatter Analysis
ucar.unidata.data.point.PointObTuple cannot be cast
to visad.FlatField

Is it not possible to perform scatter analysis with point data?

Hi,

Not at the present time, we'd have to account for the different number
of sample points, between the point obs and the image, as well as, different
graphical selection methods between point display and image display. Until
we decide how to handle this, it should be removed as an option for point
display.
