McIDAS-V Support Forums

Whenever I try to access a sattelite that requires a McIDAS login(which I have), when I am setting up the connection(where you setup the dataset and server and whatnot), it only asks for my "username" and "project #". However, when I enter that then try to connect, it says "Invalid Login, Please Verify Your Username Or Password".

What am I doing wrong?

I have tried all of the following:

1. Entering my password as the project #
2. Capitilizing my username
3. Decapitalizing my username

Is there a login button in the application I am missing maybe?

After a discussion with the user through email, it was determined that the accounting issue was related to trying to access a server from Satellite Data Services (SDS - https://www.ssec.wisc.edu/datacenter/). Any accounting required for SDS servers/datasets should be obtained directly from SDS. There is no login or accounting information needed to download and/or use McIDAS-V outside of accessing SDS servers.
