Hi all,
I'm trying to open the 3 color RGB from the following link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xs2bolmbglrys ... .tif?raw=1
This is what I'm doing:
"Data Explorer" -> "TIFF Files" -> "Add Source" -> "Field Selector" -> "3 Color (RGB) Image" -> "Create Display"
However, when the display is created, I get some random colors, as in the attached image.
Is there any other procedure I may follow?
Thanks,
Diego

Hi Diego,
Thanks for reporting this. It looks like you're trying to load and display the data the correct way in McIDAS-V, and I replicated the bad display. I verified that this is a good file by loading it into Google Earth, where it displayed and was navigated well. We have McIDAS-V inquiry 1835 written up to add the ability to read all projection types for GeoTIFF formatted files, which mentioned GEONETCast as being a source of GeoTIFF files. I added your file to this inquiry. Based on the naming convention of the file, I believe that this is from GEONETCast, is that correct?
Thanks,
Bob Carp

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the quick reply! This file was received through GEONETCast.
Ok, good to know that this was already reported!
