There are a couple of things you can try:
- From the Layer Controls for the Default Background Maps, you should see a Fast Rendering checkbox next to the map being displayed. Try checking this box to enable it to see if this improves the map lines.
- If number 1 above doesn't work, go to your User Preferences (Edit>Preferences from the Main Display). From the Advanced tab of the User Preferences, change your VisAD setting for "Enable access to geometry by reference", click OK, and restart McIDAS-V.

Code: Select all
ftp ftp.ssec.wisc.edu
user: anonymous
password: your_email_address
bin
cd pub/incoming
put your_filename
