McIdas 1.7 Windows and GOES 16 GLM L2+ Data products

Good morning everyone,

I see that Noaa Class has opened GLM L2+ Data products data (as GOES-R Series GLM L2+ Data Product -GRGLMPROD), in nc format, and i try to display this files in McIdas 1.7 Windows.

But i have an issue. See Attached file.

I join too an example of my nc file.

Can i do that in the 1.7 current version ?

Hi françois -

I would suggest checking out the Under Development > GLM Plugin - 1.7 forum post. This post goes over how to work with GLM data (including the file you attached) in McIDAS-V via a plugin. The current netCDF data types through the General>Files/Directories chooser don't work with these GLM files since they are quite a bit different than other netCDF data (in terms of their structure) that are supported by McIDAS-V.
