Hi -
Not having heard anything about this bug for a couple of weeks, I thought to check with recent nightlies whether there has been progress hidden to me. It turns out that the nightlies still do not start, but they now issue a widget with an error message.

altimeter netCDF file
Hi - I have altimeter data in netCDF format. Loading it with data type 'netCDF/GEMPAK Point Data files' the parameters are listed correctly in the Fields tab as 'Gridded Fields' and 'Point Data'. Using 'Point Data' and display type 'Point Data Plot' I can display the satellite track when selecting '...

Re: nightly builds do no launch in windows 10
Hi Jay -
Not quite. It till gets stuck, when it cannot find 'C:/Program' (see attached screen shot). Must be 'C:Program Files'. Is that there is the (well-known) problem with the character 'space' in the name?

nightly builds do no launch in windows 10
Hi -
Since 26 May nightly builds do not launch in Windows 10 - no splash window and no log file get created.
Also, the launch of last working build creates a rather lengthy log (attached). It works for me, but doesn't it look a bit suspicious?

Re: reading AVHRR GAC data from 1992
I wanted to display an old GAC granule from NOAA-6 (CLASS retrieval, recent nightly McV build). As indicated in the thread Bob posted McIDAS-V Inquiry 2038 quite some time ago. Looking it up now, it is reported as RESOLVED. However, the problem of not being able to load the data via absolute time pe...

script calling ADDE server not working - v1.8
Hi - I have a script that fails when accessing an ADDE server in recent 1.8 nightlies. The script is uploaded to the SSEC server under name 'HPscriptBug.txt'. Note that I have deleted my account information. When issueing the command sequence_ABI_CTYP('2018-03-06 20:00:00UTC',1,1,'geoarc.ssec.wisc.e...
