In the Ellrod Index formula I understand that the u, v fields are wind components on isobaric surfaces, the z field is the thickness between levels, top and bottom are the isobaric surfaces, is this correct?

Hi Jay, I tested the SEVIRI RGB plugin and the images are updated normally. The problem is with the formula "Imagery ---> Three Color (RGB) Image (Auto-scale)", which does not update the images.

Is not a confusion, if I load several files taking a period from, for example 48 hours, in 1.0 beta 5 shows the field every 3 hours, but in 1.5 it takes only the initial period and it does not cover the 48 hours. Same happens with any fields 3 or 6 hours average...

When I load the same file, for example from: m? dir = % 2Fgfs.2015122012, in McIDAS-V V1.0 beta5 and also in McIDAS-V V1.5 the list of Fields in Field Selector tab is different. In McIDAS-V V1.5 the precipitation fields are averages of 3 or 6 hours and those of total of clouds low, middle or high do...
