One more thing, in globe display quad textures are disabled. So you can get the smooth image only in map display.

Re: Can't make a simple smooth edge RGB in GUI or script
Hi all, I think its not a big issue. Just check if byreference rendering is ON. And also check if use data projection is ON in view window. Right down in visad, by reference renderer uses quad texture which are pretty smooth if display projection is same as data projection. And memory utilization is...

Possibility of using ADT on insat3d data in McV 1.6 release
Hi all As the release notes of McV 1.6 state that support for insat3d data has been added as local adde servers, is it possible to run ADT on it. My reason behind asking this question is KALPANA data is also available through adde but there is seems to be some limitation of ADT in terms of the navig...

Re: Sandwich rgb
Hi Joleen Thanks for the informative reply.. Its pretty interesting... I think its really good. But one insight.. As far as image creation is concerned is perfect, but if we see from an analyst point of view, doing a probe using center mouse click in McIDAS-V, I dont think we will get any informatio...

Re: displaying a time series of RGB images
Hi joleen Its doable. I have done it in insat plugin. I can send you the java code snippet. Visad imagesequenceImpl wont work as it does support image sequence of single band images. I will send it to you by tomorrow. Meanwhile can you post the body of makeTimeFieldFromFlatfields method. Regards Gha...

Hi Joleen
Crux is that the area calculation
method is bottleneck is described
cases. How much does it matter if
I found it via scatter plot route?

Re: jpython method calculate area for mercator grid
Hi all
if you are receiving insat3d data,
Just try with files whose name ends with
L1C_SGP.h5. Do a scatter plot of any two
bands in mcidasv. When you do compute
statistics, you will notice the delay.
I think Rick Sir also noticed similar behaviour in
some dataset.
