GRIB variable name changes in netCDF-java 4.3

Re: Error in Java Heap Space

If you do a search in the McIDAS-V User's Guide for java heap, the method for changing the memory setting is in the Advanced Preferences section. The User's guide is available from the help menu.

Re: clearing all layers and data sources

Re: bands not interlaced, ADDE in McIDAS-V

The quickest way would be to have a dataset for each band and have each band in its own directory on your local machine.

Re: netcdf subsetting not workingq

Hi, Kris - This won't help on the data load, but once the data is displayed, you should be able to limit what is shown by using the Clip View at Box option. From the Main Display, select View->Show->Clip View At Box. When this option is checked, only data within the white view box is shown. - Becky

Re: no globe display background on linux

Kris - Can you double-check that the Globe Background is checked "on" under the View menu? That is, View -> Show -> Globe Background . If you want to change this setting for all future globe displays, this is a preference setting right next to where you selected the Globe Background color....
