How do you make a thermodynamic diagram of NWP grid data?

How do you make a thermodynamic diagram of NWP (numerical weather prediction) grid data in GRIB2 format? I'm most interested in displaying it in a Skew-T diagram.

The image filters are not quite ready and still have to go through testing. They have to be evaluated to make sure they have the capabilities of IMGFILT. I'll write up an inquiry to make sure that the histogram option be included with the REPLACE option.

Unfortunately the user did not have McIDAS-X, but using that exact solution, we were able to help him out. Poking word 65 is the correct solution.

Hi Brian, Thanks for the report. Yes, this is a known issue in low-level VisAD/IDV, and thus is part of McIDAS-V.
