McIDAS-V Support Forums

Hi :
I am looking for image data for Northern Indian Ocean and Oman, date 3 May 1981, 24 hour data if possible. Data format should be compatible with McIDAS-V. I checked EUMETSAT archive but data available only from 1982. Any other archive available?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi

I have formatted my PC and reinstalled McIDAS-V 1.7, then when click to start the program startup window appears then immediately disappears. I tried so many times and can't start McIDAS. I tried to install version 1.6 but problem persists.

Please advise

When I choose Tools ---> Manage ADDE Datasets Mcidas doesn't respond. I tried and restart Mcidas so many times but no effect??
Also when choosing File ---> Preferences face same problem.
Is there any way to resolve this problem?

What is HRV RGB and how to create it?
I already have the data format (MSG HRIT HRV)

I am using McIDAS 1.6 VERSION and I am facing problem with creating image. It doesn't create image and shows error.
