Re: VIIRS NCC imagery will not plot
Hello - Thanks for the files. I am seeing the same issues with this data that you are. I can initially select a field and hit Create Display without any subsetting of a region and an image is created, but it doesn't look that great. I agree with you that this has something to do with the latitude/lo...

Re: VIIRS NCC imagery will not plot
Hello - I don't believe that I have ever attempted to load in VIIRS data with an NCC geolocation file into McIDAS-V before. I have a few questions/requests for you though: 1. What version of McIDAS-V are you using? To determine this, in the Main Display window, go to the Help->About McIDAS-V menu it...

Re: Mc-v 1.2 crashing and rendering problems
This issue has been resolved with a new OS X 1.2 installer. This installer includes a new installation location for java3d and JOGL that will be removed when the McIDAS-V-System directory is removed. This installer also reverts back to JOGL 1.1.1 on OSX, which is what we included in 1.01 and other p...

Re: Changing location of output when working in Jython shell
Hi Joleen -
I just spoke with Jon about this, and this is something that he is currently working on. He is working on getting an output of print statements as well as being able to set a specific file name for this output.
Thanks for the questions/ideas.

Hi Kris -
This request is still in our inquiry system with a queued status and a high priority. I will take note that this development will be necessary for the work in your group and that it may greatly increase the number of McV users at your location.
Thanks -
Bob

Re: Export Data for a particular lat/long
Hi Dan - Thanks for all of the screen shots and descriptions of what you were doing. Instead of using the Gridded Data->Local chooser, try using the General->Files/Directories chooser. From there, select the 'Aggregate Grids by Time' Data Type, navigate to the directory where you have your files, an...

Re: Create time Series from date/time in filename (ncml wrapper)
Hi Joleen -
Thanks for the feature request. I have written up McIDAS-V Inquiry #1252 to cover the request of adding the ability for the 'Aggregate Grids by Time' data type to work properly with files whose navigation changes from time to time.
