retrieve viewpoint settings in globe display
When I am in a "Globe Display" and change the viewpoint with my cursor, it would be nice to find out the new "viewpoint settings." As far as I can tell, the only way to actually know what the "viewpoint settings" are is to use the "viewpoints settings" dialog ...

histogram with color bar applied
Hi,
I really like the histogram capability that is available through the Satellite Chooser that is under development. Would it be possible to color code the histogram based on the color bar that is chosen?

date/time label confusion
If I look at my data properties, it appears that my data is actually from July 19, 2006 at 21:00 UTC, but the Date reads Aug 6, 2006 at 7:26 CDT. Unfortunately, this is what appears when the %timestamp% is used for the legend label. I believe the data is actually from July 19, 2006 and am not sure w...

How do I know the transparency percentage?
If I have made a color table with a certain transparency setting and forgot what it was, is there any way to find out?

Add satellite name in Data Sources Window
Hi, If I am choosing satelllite imagery from the server, I know that I am looking at GOES-12 versus GOES-11 based on the Image Type returned when I connect to the server. However, I set up a mask of data locally and combined some NOAA-19 data in the same directory as NOAA-16 data. I am wondering if ...

Choosing center of image in panel
I am running Beta5.0. I have two tabs. I was trying to get the center location of tab 2 when loading data from the satellite imagery chooser. When I click on the "Center on Current Displays" icon, the drop down list indicates that I have a panel 1 and a panel 1. However, the first panel 1 ...

degrade image resolution and save new image
Hi, I would like to degrade a GOES-12 image to VAS resolution in the 3.9 um band. It looks like I can change the pixel sampling in the layer controls, does this work only for full pixel steps (0,1,2,3,4,5)? This would mean that my option would be either 8 or 16 km resolution if the original image is...

Re: change frame sequence for loops of mixed data type
Hi Tom, Yes, you are correct, the image time is nominal. The point track data is much higher resolution than the satellite data. There have been a few viewers who have asked for the image time to change closer to the point data time so that increasing the amount of time that any one satellite image ...
