Hi HP,
Are you using the nightly or version 1.2? If it's the nightly, there is a bug in the ADDE Imagery Chooser that we're trying to get fixed.

Re: Ability to view VIIRS data that stradles dateline
Can you send us some sample VIIRS and MODIS data that illustrates this problem, and also tell us exactly which chooser you are using?
Thanks!
Becky
Thanks!

Re: how to load/display local grib and bufr files
Hi HP,
Can you send a copy of your script as it exists now? There have been a few suggestions going back and forth, and I'm not sure what state your script is in now.
Thanks!
Becky

Re: Can OpenAdde Server support Mcidas MD format?
Hello Feng,
Good to hear from you again! At this time, McIDAS-V can not load local MD files. We are hoping to add that functionality to the local ADDE servers soon, hopefully yet this summer.

Re: simple newbee question
Welcome to McIDAS-V!
Hopefully we can get you started quickly.
The ADDE servers listed in the Data Explorer are all accessed via port 112. This is often closed by firewalls or other security settings. Please make sure that your system can access port 112.

This should now be working in the nightly release. Let us know if you're still seeing problems.

William,
I sent this off to Tommy and he said that he'd look at it to see what was happening.

Can you send us examples of the files? Also, make sure that you have any geolocation files. I'm pretty sure that if you don't have those, the other files won't be listed either.

Re: global name 'islInterpreter' is not defined
Hi HP, I just tried a both a mcv and a mcvz file on my XP machine running 1.2, and it seems to have worked fine with the following syntax: openBundle('C:\\home\\beckys\\hail.mcvz') Can you attach or send a copy of your bundle, and we'll give it a try? Maybe there's something in your bundle that I am...
