Re: Change Data is not working as expected
Hi Bob, I checked again, and it does seem that the only problem with the amv files is that the name does not update correctly. I briefly checked adding a filter on the median pressure and color by median pressure just to make sure the display updated properly with those constraints and that seems to...

Re: Change Data is not working as expected
Hi Bob, I am confirming that on my machine using the same variables. Could you right click on the label in the field selector to verify that the label name changes appropriately in the field selector? At this point, it looks like the label updates properly in the display label and legend. However, i...

Re: running Mc-V on a remote machine
The vnc script above is just dealing with the running of the vnc servers. To run a McIDAS-V script using the vnc virtual display, make sure the bash shell is exported to the number of the vnc display, then run the script. This is similar to what is done inline for the Xvfb script. #!/bin/bash # set ...

Re: Vertical Profile of AIRS product
Hi Ghansham,
I posted an AIRS retrieval at
ftp://ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/ssec/joleen ... rof_rtv.h5
For current retrievals, the latest are in dated directories at
AIRS: ftp://ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/eosdb/aqua/ ... /products/
and for NPP,
CrIS: ftp://ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/eosdb/npp/c ... _1014/edr/
in both, the date must be updated to the current date in order to view the current retrievals.
Thanks,
Joleen

Re: Vertical Profile of AIRS product
Hi Ghansham, There can be good information from Satellite vertical retrievals which would be nice to regularly display. A couple issues I hope will be addressed in the future: * Satellite Vertical retrievals that can be displayed on a thermodynamic diagram, and rms errors plotted along with the retr...

Match Display Area
Hi, When using GOES-16 full disk netcdf files, the "Match Display Region" option is not working for me if I use a South America Projection. The data never appears in the frame, occasionally the range is reported as missing-missing. I was able to view the data if I select "use default....

kmz creates temporary directory
Hi, I am saving files as kmz files using the scripting API. I noticed that this seems to be creating temporary directories in my McIDAS-V home directory <HOME>/McIDAS-V/tmp. When I save through the GUI, I am seeing png files being placed in the temporary directory. These are filling up a /home direc...
