I was able to reproduce your error, but like you said it's sporadic. We will try to document a series of event that triggers the problem more readily. Inquiry 2131 has been created to evaluate the problem.

You mention that you cannot save a Global Display. Do you mean global display viewpoint? I was able to do this, but you can only restore a globe viewpoint to a globe display.

In the second thread of this post, you mention that the list of viewpoints can get too long making it impossible to access those at the end of the list. I have created Inquiry 2130 to address the problem.

The projection matrix for CO_Tilted in viewpoints.xml. Starting with a fresh viewpoints.xml, I created a list similar to yours but was not able to reproduce the anomaly. I wrote up Inquiry 2129 to document the anomaly.

Thanks for the clarification.

If you currently have a working view point, please post projections.xml. The file should be in your McIDAS-V directory. Once the projection has become corrupt, again post projections.xml.

When you save your projectionMatrix (whether it is from AHI or Colorado), are you trying to use that projectionMatrix on the default World projection? If so, you are getting the expected results.
