Issue with visibility animation and capturing movie
So, I tried capturing a movie of a visibility animation I had in Mc-V and I kept getting the following error: ERROR: Error loading image Could not load resource:/home/wstraka/McIDAS-V/tmp/images_1315327114277/image_0_%time%..jpg error:java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/wstraka/McIDAS-V/tmp/images_...

L1b read capability in file system browser
Right now, the only way to read in the NOAA L1b files is via an ADDE server. Can we have the ability to read in the L1b from the filel system bowser??

Issue with going between full screen to reset screen
If I have a multipaneld display, and in one panel do View -> Full Screen and then Reset the screen (View ->reset full screen), the following result happens when my viewing window is reset (see attached picture).
Is this a know issue with multi-screen machines or is it something else?

William Straka AMS2011
Becky, here is my poster (wow, it actually attached!). Anyway, I put a shameless plug for the GOES-R website on there. Data only on one side of Prime Meridian/Dateline
This has been something that was in the previous versions of Mc-V and has continued through to v1.0, namely, if I have a set of gridded data file or data off the ADDE that straddles the international date line or the prime meridian, and then use the probe (middle mouse button), I have noticed that I...

Re: ADDE search issue
Becky,
Good catch! Sorry about that. That was the issue.
Bug: Operator error
One thing (and this should maybe go as a feature request) is, would it be possible to search based on day of year rather than Month/Day/Year??

ADDE search issue
I was trying to access a set of data off of the AMET08 server here at CIMSS, in particular 9/25/2006. Now, I know the files exists, as I can do an IMGLIST in McIDAS-X. However, in McIDAS-V, it states that "No images satisfy the criteria" (see screen capture). I've tried 9/23-9/27/2006 and ...

Draw shapes
Right now under the Display->Draw Freely tool, there are a very limited number of shapes that can be drawn. I mentioned this to Jessica a while back that it would be nice to be able to draw an arc, straight line, circle or arrow at an angle (or just a line with an arrow head) . This currently isn't ...

So I have an ocean currents point data (speed/direction) that I would like to plot in Mc-V. If I use the wind barb plot, all I get is a "calm" wind barb, as the data goes from 0m/s - 3 m/s. Obviously wind has specific values for the wind barbs, so this is not a valid way of plotting this. ...

Re: Map is not correct for Meteosat (SEVERI) data.
Rick As an FYI, when SteveW and I used the RSO data for MET-8 (which is at 9.5E) last year, we had to POKE (using Mc-X) the sat-subpoint in to that location. That is a temporary solution while people wait for EUMETSAT to correct their archive, back with mcidas2008 LWU POKE AREA(nnnn) -95000 69 As an...
