I am experiencing Feng Lu's problem also with recent nightly builds of 1.02beta1 under SuSE Linux 64-bit. Rick's test of running a virgin copy shows the same problem again. The same builds under W7 64-bit work properly.

Yes, and so does the layer label. I never liked this, but nobody seemed to care - neither the IDV folks nor the McV ones. Would probably need a totally new approach to how labels and colour bars get added to a (3D) display.

When clicking View in display window and then hovering over the drop-down list the following error message is issued:
Error in makeDynamicMenu:Displays
java.lang.NullPointerException

This happens only when clicking View the first time. Clicking it again is ok. Happens since a few nightly builds.
