Pause works perfectly fine for me in idv.has it to do something with McV.In colorplanview, u can set select range,set polygon mode,shade colors.but it uses default renderer,imagedisplay uses fast image renderer.if u r not using any of those features, try imagedisplay.if u keep loading data without u...

Its really wonderful stuff coming from McIDAS-V with such great capabilities of scripting.
