McV 1.01 - MOD02 files - invalid file name convention
Hi - I am sure that we had this in the past (and has disappeared in more recent times), but in this moment the forum does not let me search. Running McV 1.01 under W7 64-bit I have hit again on "invalid file name convention" when trying to open any MOD021KM*.hdf regularly downloaded from t...

Re: Satellite image rendering issues at 180E/W lon in Mercator
Having had to install a new system I have stumbled again on the display gap along the 0/180 longitude. As hinted earlier on in this thread the gap does not appear when opting for fast rendering. It might be useful to have this feature mentioned in Help where "fast rendering" is addressed (...

RGB Comoposite display for auto-scaling RGB
I am an "addict" of the formula "Three Colour (RGB) Image (Auto-scale) under "Imagery". It serves me various purposes. As default display "Omni Control" is proposed. If there are no strong objections I would rather see "RGB Composite" implemented (I have ...

Middle-East locations do not display
This is an oldie. Since many many builds Display > Plot Location Labels > World > Middle East does not display any labels. (All?) other regions display. Adding Middle-East location to userstations.xml works, but is not the solution.

Re: most recent build does not run
I got an answer from Jeff regarding the RAMADDA plugin. He will talk to the IDV guys about an update. In the meantime I got the ramaddaplugin.jar from him. I attach it here in case there is a RAMADDA user among McV folks

Re: most recent build does not run
Just to confirm last night's build is working again. Just a small note of caution. With the new IDV stuff in the RAMADDA plugin is no more compatible and issues an error message at McV startup. Reloading it does not help. I have contacted Jeff McWhirter about it and will let you know asap.

most recent build does not run
As you may glean from the log below the most recent build of the linux_x86_64-bit installer does not run due to a missing module. I have also tested the windows_installer - same result. layer label disappears from display window
When manipulating (e.g. changing projection, resizing window) the display of satellite imagery the layer labels may disappear suddenly. Up to now I have not been able to produce the disappearance in a "controlled" way. There appears to be no way to make them reappear, i.e you have to kill ...
